    It has off street parking with EV charging, private garden and sold secure rated bike storage.

  • 1 bedroom with a king sized bed.

  • 1 bathroom with corner shower enclosure. Sink and WC.

  • Suitable for couples weekend, business trip, festivals. Ideal base to explore the Island. Local beach, walking, cycling, and bird watching is all available locally.

    Not suitable for babies or young children.

  • Gurnard beach is a short walk away where you will find the beach, village green, picnic tables, public toilets and local traders (ice cream van, public house) with some of the best sunset views in the UK.

  • Off street parking for 1 car. On street parking for additional car(s). In partnership with Monta an EV charge point is located on the drive.

  • Skysail cottage is situated at the top of an unadopted road (gravel road).

    Mobility - Ground floor accommodation.  Entrance/set down at the front of the house (central concrete path to front door, gravel parking area to the right).

    Keyless entry using keypad.

    Potential hazards - Shallow step up to the porch, welcome mats. Front door to Skysail is on the right side of the house.  The garden is on the ground level, with 2 shallow steps up to the patio area.

    Wheelchair friendly? - No, the property thresholds and door widths are not suitable for wheelchair users.  Access to the garden is via the patio doors with a slightly raised threshold, gravel side passage to garden.

  • We welcome small, well behaved dogs.  Assistance dogs always welcome.

  • Sailcottages has committed to move towards sustainable tourism and the reduction of single use plastics from our cleaning, washing and toiletries products we provide for our guests.

    We currently provide ocean friendly cleaning products; compostable cloths and scourers; ethical toiletries containing essential oils - British made with vegan, cruelty-free and biodegradable ingredients, refillable to reduce plastic waste; and compostable dog poop bags.  

    We also provide biodegradable plant based tea bags and sugar sachets, and your used coffee capsules are recycled. 

  • The bedrooms is fitted with a fire alarm that provides assistance for the hard of hearing this uses a flashing strobe light and vibrating pad in addition to the normal audible alarms, allowing guests with hearing impairments to be alerted to an emergency situation
